Chronicles the Marine Corps struggle to capture the Island of Saipan in the Marianas; and the 20th Air Force’s bombing efforts launched from the Marianas against the heart of the Japanese Empire.  

The Road to Victory Capital Expansion
The expanded museum will cover all of the theaters and services that played a role in World War II and create a national center for research on the war.
